Job Description

A MQ Series Administrator contributes to the development, delivery and maintenance of technology-based business solutions.  He/she is skilled in designing, coding, testing, and implementing configuration changes to software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements.  He/she may have some oversight responsibility for the technology solution.  The primary responsibility of this role is to perform administrative responsibilities for IBM WebSphere MQ Queue Managers for multiple teams within the organization

•           Coordination of software upgrades/patches dev/qa, prod

•           Assist with Design of MQSeries components

•           Build/maintain MQSeries components - Qmgrs, Clusters, Queues, Channels, etc

•           MQSeries security administration for non-production environments

•           Application functional deployments to test environments
