Deliverables: 1. Design documentation for an extensible application development framework (ADF) based on the Cognos 8.3 2. Code releases of the custom ADF 3. Documentation specifying the proper use, extension, maintenance, and testing of the ADF 4. Custom Web applications or Cognos Connection-based applications using the ADF 5. Application documentation specifying proper use, extension, maintenance, and testing Skills: In depth experience with the Cognos8.3, the object model, and the development of customer facing Web applications In depth experience with Cognos Connection In depth experience with J2EE development In depth experience with JSF 1.1 (Struts 2, Spring a plus) Experience with Cognos 8.3 ReportStudio, QueryStudio, FrameworkManager Experience with Web Services development Experience with, JUnit, JSP, Hibernate Experience with the AIX Operating System and DB2/UDB V9 a plus Experience with the Rational Application Developer IDE a plus Experience with the Rational Unified Process and associated SDLC technologies (i.e., ClearCase, ClearQuest, ReqPro, Rose and SODA); Strong analytic, problem solving, and collaborative skills Degree in Computer Science or related discipline Recognized business presence Health insurance industry background in the area of Claim Processing or analytics preferredTo Inquire about this position please send a detailed MS Word resume to[Click Here to Email Your Resumé]
