Department Description:The Motorola Enterprise Mobility Solutions business consists of Enterprise Mobility Solutions, Radio Solutions, and Wireless Networks Solutions, all working together as a mobility ecosystem capable of delivering real-time information in the hands of end users. Our Enterprise Mobility Solutions Worldwide Channels Group is responsible for developing and driving global channel strategies, programs, and go-to market enablement for channel partners. In addition the WW Channels Group is responsible for creating partnering strategies and managing global partners to achieve revenue growth.
The right candidate will work closely with EMS Channel Solutions Readiness Team inclusive of the EMS Solutions Centers and the Global Solution Alliances managers as well the Global Partners Organization and to bring to market new solutions that are jointly developed for delivery through our Partners Eco-System in order to grow EMS product/services revenue in new verticals and geographies. Further, this role will focus on increasing our Speed to Market by identifying and creating critical routes to market in all four regions specifically around Voice and Wireless Technologies.
To accomplish this, the candidate will be required to partner with the Wireless Network Solutions product management executives as well as with the sales leaders for the various regions in the world, to develop and drive strategies to attract and engage key partners in the VOIP and Wireless space. The candidate will also be responsible for managing relationships with key alliance partners in the VOIP and Wireless space and will be considered an integral member of the Global Solutions and Alliances team. Relationships with key alliance partners will require the development of key senior contacts as well as driving strategies that lead to the production of revenue and contribute to an overall positive alliance relationship
Responsibilities/Expectations:Identify and track performance to ensure continued success and growth of Partner relationship
Manage and develop Team Members; including but not limited to Manage Reports and Virtual Teams from Company Wide Business Unit
Prepare sales& global activity reports and analyses
Develop, Resource and Manage the Global Operation structure that supports the Alliance
Act as communications conduit for sales, marketing and operations teams between Motorola, Eco-System Partners& Alliances
Collaborate and jointly structure and launch programs in conjunction with our Public Relations and Channel& Corporate Marketing teams
Supervise and execute escalations
Work well in a broad cross-functional organization
Knowledge Skills: BS/BA Degree in a Technical or Business discipline
5 years minimum industry experience with at least 5 years Market Development/Route Strategy/Sales/Global Alliance experience in a high tech environment
Strong project management, communication, organization and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to drive business strategy with business partner
Strong ability to drive cross functional sales strategies
55% travel is required
3 plus years previous experience in Strategic Alliances is a plus
Assertive team player with positive attitude, high energy level, and ability to establish customer rapport and build relationships.
Ability to motivate sales teams about solutions, alliances and global partners in general
Understanding of Motorola technology and solutions
Self-motivated, resourceful and able to work independently
Ability to successfully lead and motivate diverse product, solution and sales teams across geographic boundaries and EMS divisions and partners organizations
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and execute on needed priorities to develop and drive the business
