Person in this position will be responsible for providing the overall leadership, supervision and oversight for the program.  Overall responsibility for the substance abuse treatment development which includes, planning, formulation and supervision of program goal and objectives, program budget, program techniques and methods, staff selection, training and development, monitoring program effectiveness.

Person in this position will be responsible for the delivery of clinical substance abuse treatment to clients participating in the program; complete assessment of each inmate with required assessment tools; initiate and sustain each individual’s motivation to participate in treatment, develop a comprehensive service plan for each inmate that includes the results of assessments; provide daily treatment and curriculum-based education groups on the basic concepts of therapeutic change, etc.
